Ways You Can Get Involved
Community Scientists
Our program depends on volunteer community scientists to collect and analyze data. We invite community feedback to help shape the goals of the project.
Local Organizations
We want to collaborate with groups who are interested in implementing an eDNA biodiversity monitoring program for the LA River.
Educators
We want to work with educators in the Los Angeles region who are interested in bringing community science, biodiversity monitoring, and cutting-edge eDNA research into their classrooms.
Artists
We are interested in working with a variety of artists (designers, writers, painters, musicians, digital artists, etc.) who want to explore ways to interpret and communicate biodiversity information and their perspectives of the river.
